Ennov5 on Documentum offers the same features as our original application, but takes advantage of Documentum's storage and reliability. Documentum users now unleash the power of Documentum with our easy to use document management and process management interface. A complete document management or business process solution can be implemented and running in just days. Ennov5 provides easy to use and configure access to information (data and meta data) from your Documentum platform.
Ennov5 for Documentum is mostly designed to manage your quality systems, taking advantage of the world class leader platform for content management.
Our solution can easily manage and provide access to all reference documents, that all employees should consult and apply throughout the company. This ability with our easy to configure process workflow enables users to improve processes such as quality audits, issues tracking, corrective and preventive actions, customer complaints, purchase requests, training requests, and much more. The Ennov5 solution does not require any IT skills to model your own workflow through a graphical drag-and drop interface, nor build on demand categorizations that will help you index your documents. Because it is an easy and flexible system Ennov5 fits all complex organizations and allows multiple departments and multiple sites to improve productivity and manage their business.
How Documentum enhances the Ennov platform
Compared to the stand alone Ennov5 package Ennov5 for Documentum offers three main additional benefits. It keeps track of all minor document versions created during the authoring cycle between two active versions. It allows documents and workflows to be archived and retrieved as needed and automates the retention and disposition of content in compliance with regulations, legal stipulations, and best practices. It integrates the very powerful capabilities of the Documentum search engine as its standard search engine.
