Ennov5 Doc Implementation At Linde Gas
Linde Gas is a world leader in the production of industrial and medical gases. Its clients are manufacturing companies, laboratories and hospitals all over the world. The group turnover exceeded 12 billion euros in 2006, with 55 000 employees in more than 50 countries.
Following the acquisition of the Swedish company AGA in 2000, it was critical to consolidate the quality system between the different units. Linde Gas then chose Ennov software on Lotus Notes platform to manage large volumes of documents in several languages for dozens of sites world-wide. The flexibility of the product was much appreciated in order to take into account the needs of different types of users.

Linde Gas implemented a selective replication based on a hub & spoke architecture. The main hubs were in Stockholm and Cleveland, and the database was replicated to production sites in Europe, North America and South America. In 2005, Linde Gas decided to go further and started a migration project to Ennov5. This Web-based solution offers an easier access to remote sites; it enables to handle even larger volumes of data, and includes extended customization features.
Linde Gas also purchased the 21 CFR module on top of Ennov5, in order to ensure compliance with FDA standards regarding double signature and audit trail.
Today, 10 000 users access Quality, Security and Environment documentation through Ennov5, they can consult both corporate and regional documents in the same system. The interface is available in 4 languages, while documents are managed either in English or in local languages.
